Autonomous Database monitoring in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Management
In this short demo, we’re going to show you the monitoring capabilities in OCI Database Management service for Autonomous Databases deployed on OCI and how to enable those capabilities.

When you monitor an Autonomous Database, you can monitor them as part of a fleet of databases (also including Exadata Cloud, Database Cloud Service and on-premises databases) for a single pane of glass of your entire DB estate. And from that Fleet summary page, you can drill down into a specific Autonomous Database of interest to monitor:
– Activity Class (Avg. Active Session)
– CPU Utilization
– Storage Usage
– Number of queued and running SQL statements (with deeper analytics capabilities in the Performance Hub click-through)
