Oracle Data Guard – Step-by-Step – Standby Log Gap Resolution Scenarios
Welcome to the Part-4 of the series on oracle Data Guard. I will upload more tutorials in this series that will cover everything you need to know to manage and use Oracle Data Guard and become a master in it. My plan is to make this a minimum 10 part series but I may increase it based on the demand and requirements.

In this part I am explaining the Standby Log Gap Resolution Scenarios.

Oracle data guard is an indispensable part of oracle’s high availability solutions. In a real world scenario the Primary and Physical standby databases reside on geographically different locations or different data centers to make sure that even if one region goes completely down, your database is still available and intact. In this tutorial and the series I am using a virtual environment for demonstration purpose.
